The news was shared by Petro during a cabinet meeting at the Nariño House, the Executive's headquarters, on Monday, April 21.
In his statements, Petro mentioned: "I can no longer go because I believe they took away my visa. I didn't need to have a visa, but okay. I've seen Donald Duck (referring to Trump) several times, so I'm going to see other things."
The Colombian president alluded to the visa issue while commenting that Finance Minister Germán Ávila traveled to Washington to participate in the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) this week.
