The Electoral Tribunal offices will be closed on December 31 and January 1, except for the regional civil registry offices in major public hospitals, which will operate only on the last day of 2025 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Birth, marriage, and death certificates can be obtained at Rey and Romero supermarkets during their operating hours. They are also available at the Tribunal’s multiservice kiosks throughout the country.
The Tribunal recommends citizens check the status of their applications on the website tribunalcontigo.com in the “Where is my card?” section to avoid unnecessary trips.
For duplicate card requests due to loss, citizens can use the 24‑hour multiservice kiosks, which facilitate quick and secure processing without visiting a counter.
On December 31, the Digital Administration and Monitoring Department of CEMD and the User Assistance Center of the Special Services Directorate also remain open.
