Colombian singer Juanes announced on Tuesday that he will release his twelfth album, 'JuanesTeban,' on March 6, a work that allowed him to 'finally return to a place of light and joy.' 'I wanted to make the kind of album that would take me back to the territory of dance and cumbia: the feeling of Latin America, the root of folklore,' the artist added. 'JuanesTeban,' which was co-produced by the singer from Medellín and the Argentine Nico Cotton, revolves around the idea of duality in which the Colombian explores 'both darkness and light, cumbia and rock, spirituality and carnal romance, lyrics full of optimism and joy along with a deep emotional vulnerability,' according to his team. The Colombian, known for hits like 'Es por ti' or 'La camisa negra,' included in the album the four singles he had already released: 'Una noche contigo,' 'Cuando estamos tú y yo,' 'Hagamos que,' and 'Muérdeme,' with his compatriots from Bomba Estéreo. This album is also different from the previous ones because I was finally able to explore the multiple facets of my personality,' expressed the 53-year-old artist, cited in a team press release. 'It's like a kaleidoscope of my many moods: joy, enthusiasm, melancholy.'
