Shakira released an acoustic version of her hit "Hips Don't Lie" in collaboration with Ed Sheeran and Beéle. The Colombian singer reworked her classic hit that brought her worldwide fame and made her name known everywhere. The new version of the song highlighted the best of the melody that made multiple generations of people dance, with a distinctive touch that makes it stand out from the rest. In an interview with the American magazine Variety, Shakira expressed her enthusiasm about collaborating with the British musician: "Ed and I have been talking and exchanging ideas for years, literally, and we have worked on several, but the right moment never came. I love what he does with just a guitar and his unique vocal arrangements. I knew he would bring something new to 'Hips'". She also gave a heartfelt explanation for her decision to add the Colombian artist to her worldwide hit: "Beéle is from my hometown, part of the new generation, and since this song put Barranquilla on the map in the U.S., I thought it would be beautiful to incorporate another artist from there". The new version of "Hips Don't Lie" is available on the green platform, along with other special re-releases of tracks such as "Pies Descalzos", "Antología", and "Día de Enero".
