Colombian star Shakira dominated the Premio Lo Nuestro and became the artist with the most awards on Thursday night, despite not being present at the ceremony. The singer is in her hometown, Barranquilla, as part of her successful world tour "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Tour."
Shakira won six awards, including Female Pop Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Urban Pop Album of the Year for her album "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran." She also received accolades for her collaborations, such as Best "Crossover" Collaboration of the Year for "Bichota" with Cardi B, Collaboration of the Year Urban Pop for the same song, and Collaboration of the Year Mexican Music for "(Entre Paréntesis)" alongside Grupo Frontera.
During the ceremony, Shakira performed her song "Última" in a live broadcast from Barranquilla, as part of her current tour. Laura Pausini, one of the presenters, described the moment as "not just a concert, but an event."
On the other hand, the singer has performances scheduled in Argentina on March 7 and 8 at the Campo Argentino de Polo.
