The band Aterciopelados is excited to release a new album after reinterpreting their repertoire of nearly 30 years during the "El Dorado" tour. With 10 studio albums and presence in numerous festivals, including the emblematic Rock al Parque, the band returns to Vive Latino after 10 years and this will be their fifth participation in the festival.
In an interview, Andrea Echeverry and Héctor Buitrago expressed their enthusiasm for performing at the festival. Andrea commented on her recent collaboration with Gustavo Santaolalla and Camila Moreno, while Héctor mentioned the evolution of the band's music promotion, adapting to new times and technologies.
When addressing the longevity of Aterciopelados, they asked if their way of composing had changed over time. The band is remembered by many for their beginnings in the 90s with hits like "Florecita Rockera." Despite having come a long way, the eclectic essence of Aterciopelados remains present in their music.
The audience can expect a compilation of the band’s greatest hits in their presentation at Vive Latino 25, where they promise to bring a mix of nostalgia and new sounds. Additionally, on April 22, they will release their new album "Genes Rebeldes."
