Six people, including famous singer Yeison Jiménez, died in a plane crash in Colombia. The accident occurred on Saturday, January 10, in the sector of Paipa and Diutama, in the department of Boyacá. The aircraft, registration number N325FA, was heading to Medellín.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority, there were six people on board, and all of them died. In addition to Yeison Jiménez, they were the pilot, Captain Hernando Torres, and the passengers Juan Manuel Rodríguez, Oscar Marín, Jefferson Osorio, and Weisman Mora.
An alarming message that appeared on the aircraft's dashboard before the crash has drawn attention. It read 'Bad PRB', which, according to experts, is an abbreviation for 'Bad probe' or 'defective probe' and could indicate a sensor failure. The last minutes of the singer's life have also been circulated on social media.
'What this does is limit the aircraft, and the pilot would fly with less precise information,' said a source consulted by the media. 'It is not a totally critical state, but, as I tell you, it would be limited to the pilot, since he would have less information —or wrong information— available'.
