Colombian Deportes Tolima won 3-0 on penalties against Venezuelan Deportivo Táchira after a 1-1 draw in the second leg of the Copa Libertadores preliminary round. The only goal in regulation time was scored by forward Luis González from a penalty in the fourth minute of added time. In the decisive penalty shootout, Tolima's Edward López, Luis Sandoval, and Sebastián Guzmán scored, while midfielder Brayan Rovira missed. Brazilian goalkeeper Neto Volpi was the star of the shootout, saving José Balza's shot. With this victory, Tolima advanced to the third preliminary round of the Libertadores, where they will face Chile's O'Higgins.
