The meeting brought together representatives of the country's leading data centers, along with partners and strategic integrators, to review the partnership's progress, define the roadmap for 2026, and strengthen the articulation among the various actors of Colombia's digital ecosystem.

«We hope that this single voice for the sector will allow us to all speak one language, not only before the government, but also in front of private actors, and that we can position Colombia as a real regional technology hub,» stated one of the participants.

The event brought together key operators, integrators, and technology providers, including certified data centers such as EQUINIX, CLARO, ILKARI, CIRION, WAVEDC, KIO NETWORKS, GTD, TIGO, SENCINET, IFX, and INTERNEXA.

The Colombian Association of Data Centers and Data Technologies (ACOLDC) held its first Executive Partner Breakfast last Tuesday, November 11th, in Bogotá. The meeting aimed to strengthen technical and operational coordination to generate solutions in efficiency, resilience, and cybersecurity.

Roadmap 2026: Committees and Specialized Technical Tables ACOLDC's committees are the engine for the ecosystem's development, with clear objectives in standardization, adoption of best practices, and strengthening the sector's resilience. These topics will be discussed in forums and specialized working tables to generate concrete and applicable solutions for the Colombian sector.

ACOLDC's program for 2026 includes: • Seminar on Selectivity, Coordination, and Arc-Flash in UPS/STS/ATS (March 2026). • Forum on Thermal Efficiency and Liquid Cooling (April 2026). • Forum on Energy, Water, and Carbon (PUE/WUE/CUE) (September 2026).

Additionally, Technical Tables will be promoted on electrical capacity management, retro-commissioning, connectivity and interconnection, physical security and HSE for contractors, IT/OT cybersecurity, and the use of cloud, analytics, and AI applied to operations.

ACOLDC's Senior Strategic Advisor, Kaleb Avila, indicated that the participation of partners in these committees allows them to «share experiences, identify common challenges, and present proposals that truly impact the operation of data centers».

Focal Topics and Concrete Solutions The 2026 technical agenda will focus on critical areas such as electrical management, thermal efficiency, operational resilience, cybersecurity, and analytics applied to operations.
